Thrifty Place

Thrifty Place is located on the grounds of the Raumati Church of the Kapiti Uniting Parish. We are a hidden gem in the Raumati Beach village. We sell quality used second-hand items, including clothing, books, and household goods.

We love welcoming new customers to our shop and our customers love coming in for a social chat. We are well known for our low prices. Funds raised from our shop help support our local community.

The Kapiti Uniting Parish hires our churches to local community groups, supports the Kapiti Counselling Service which is a low cost counselling service, supports a local community garden which is located next to Thrifty Place and also contributes to the day to day costs of the church. Our Raumati Church is also a local emergency Community Hub.

All the staff at Thrifty Place are volunteers. Donations are always greatly accepted. Please drop off during shop hours or contact us on 04 902 5809 for collection.
