This is a very big store with a fantastic range of top quality household bric a
brac, clothing, shoes ,bags. There is always a large range of high quality furniture. A lot of imagination and presentation has gone into making this store interesting and appealing. The staff are very friendly and welcoming I love to shop at this store and always leave with great bargains.
Fantastic store a must to visit
It used to be gorgeous, the layout especially. But it is so expensive! Especially for Ranui. I did buy an item once, $580 for an old school wood TV cabinet, max size 32″, reduced to $400, then $320 or thereabouts, sat there for weeks.
I said $280 plus delivery – which is also expensive compared to others, and it took an argument. Isn’t getting the money more helpful than sitting week after week and getting nothing?
I watched some ladies ask about a bed, nice iron headboard – $500. After negotiating the staff lady came back and said oh it’s just the bed not headboard as well. The headboard is what made it. The ladies did not buy. neither would I have done so.
i love this store.the clothing is lovely,i always leave with a load of bargains,the staff are so friendly.the shop is well presented. ten outa ten for service as well. my mum doesnt dare go there without me .
It used to be reasonably priced, however once this new manager has taken over, noticed the items are just overpriced, it would be much cheaper if you buy from trademe or the Warehouse. The people pricing the items have no clue of how to price items, The manager will not be willing to reduce the prices, some of these items, like glasses, etc should be priced at $1 and just try and get rid of the stuff than we see the same stuff lying on these shelves for months together.
