The Goldmine Reuse Centre

The Goldmine Reuse Centre is located on the site of the Coromandel Refuse Transfer Station. Our goal is to minimise waste to landfill by rescuing quality goods from being thrown away. We put these and many other donated goods into our large purpose built skyline garage and a few containers.

We love to create a place where people can find things that they need in their everyday lives or things that need a second life with some re-imaging. We also have a community workshop space that we call The ReMakery which is for everyone and anyone to use and attend teacher run workshops.

We are open 7 days a week during the summer period when Coromandel town get super busy. We look forward to seeing you.
