Always so impressed with the quality of your goods and regularly shop for books and clothing items at your store 🙂 unfortunately today one staff member pushed past me/elbowed me out of the way numerous times even though it was obvious I was purchasing items, however the lovely lady at the counter made for an over all present experience.
very disappointed when i went in with my elderly mother to the levin spca shop,.who has in the past donated to this shop and many others.Mum purchased a few things and one being a casserole dish which i happened to accidentally drop the lid and smashed it.the checkout lady i think should have offered mum her $18.50 back in which she had paid for it! I know it was my fault but come on its a charity shop and would it really have done any harm refunding mum her money, especially when my mum is the first one to donate money or unwanted goods.
This would be the 3rd best op shop in Levin well behind the Salvation Army(2) and the Hospice shop which is miles ahead.
Not too many bargains to be found here though, you’re probably more likely to find a bargain in their free boxes out front or in the book isle.
Staff members are average and usually only say hi” if you say hi” first. They have too many crap clothing items on the racks that you see time after time, maybe lower the overall prices and move some of this crap!

I’m Sick and tired of going through racks of ugly old clothing that has been sitting there for yonks. All the clothing is so close together on the racks it makes it hard to look.
Best op shop in Levin. Heaps of bargains and funky stuff. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
The selection of clothing is outstanding and prices are reasonable.

Such a shame that Levin SPCA has out-priced itself from the other Op shops as first and foremost this ‘non for profit’ organisation does represent a fabulous opportunity to help animals.
I just saw they are charging $4 PER BOOK -triple the price of St Johns and double the price of the others.
Turning customers away is not a wise business philosophy.
I won’t be going again but will visit instead the many other animal op shops that are reasonable.
