As a regular customer i can recommend this store for range of stock and low prices! More than clothing too!
Lovely staff here, so helpful and friendly which is surprising given the working conditions. Unbearably hot in Summer (no air con) and freezing in winter, they also have to endure a loud bell ringing at the beginning and end of tea breaks! I thought that had gone out in the dark ages and employees were treated with more respect these days, obviously not. I don’t come here much any more as there are no trolleys to put your shopping in and no toilet available which given the location is very inconvenient.
Two are fantastic – except there is always one who seems plagued by poor me syndrome / It’s an effort to get happy customer service from this person in particular.
No trolleys is simply ridiculous- I won’t shop here again until you can have a system with trolleys – it makes me laugh the reason is safety. Which leads me to guess you have had a an incident. Why don’t you simply kick idiots out who cannot use a trolley? Why do we all have to suffer now because of one person?
If someone slips on the floor at McDonald’s they don’t remove the floor. Imagine grocery shopping without a trolley. Think about it.
STAFF ARE REALLY UNHAPPY
was “greeted” at the door with the mask police (staff didn’t say hello, welcome, she just said abruptly “pull your mask all the way up” and walked away, my mask had slipped down below my nose.) VERY rude lady. Then at the checkout I asked a different staff member “hi how are you?” And she said “cold.” I felt for her because it was chilly in there so i said “they should provide a space heater for you here, it’s hard to stay warm when you’re not walking around!” She mumbled something about them not going to do that. Then I said “you should just grab a coat from the racks and wear it for the day” and she said “ I’ll get in trouble”. May be so, but perhaps they would then consider giving their 60+ year old cashier a small heater!
The most miserable and rude bunch of staff I have ever come across in a shop. They make the shopping ( in what is a cool shop) very unpleasant
